It is generally recommended to drink bottled or filtered water in Morocco. Tap water in major cities is usually chlorinated but might not be suitable for those with sensitive stomachs.

Morocco is a predominantly Muslim country, so it’s respectful to dress modestly, especially in rural areas and religious sites. When visiting mosques, you should cover your shoulders and knees. It’s also polite to greet people with a handshake and to use your right hand for eating or giving/receiving items.
